Hey ladies. 

My life changed when I downloaded the Flo App. I'm not sponsoring them, I'm simply sharing that it could change yours too.  I am able to see and track when my period is approaching, when I'm ovulating, when I'm most likely to get pregnant (no gambling here) and how many days I have before my period begins.

I have this theory that all effective diet tactics out there are based on the basic principles of food combining. Either those who discover "breakthroughs" just aren't aware of it or they simply aren't saying it.

2018 was a prolific year. A complete journey around the sun - equally replete with bright moments and dark shadowy ones. I started 2018 with a clean slate - and it wasn't without messying it up a bit that I understood, finally, the power of clarity. Truly a winner - I made this for a potluck last Aloha Friday and Fireworks and it was well loved. There's just something awesome about bringing a wholesome dish that's balanced and nourishing. (You'll get oo's ahh's and THANK YOU's!)

Ingredients:

3 medium zucchini spiralized or shredded in a mandolin, 
4 medium carrots peeled into ribbons, 
3 small baked purple sweet potato or yam, sliced, 
2 oranges, peeled and sliced

This was totally unexpected.

 I had the most productive day yesterday. Don't you love it when that happens?

Hey friend - I've been making and eating nut butter for some time now. Nuts give me an excellent source of vitamins, fiber, fat and protein - things I need being a committed part of the plant eaters club (it's not exclusive, newbies are ALWAYS welcome :) In short, I love nuts and nut butters.
