Not sure what spells Saturday morning better for me - sleeping in - or sleeping in, drinking tea, working out and then indulging in this decadence around 1pm. It's days like this when intermittent fasting happens so passively the time just flies and there's little focus on hunger...until hunger hits and then this delicious solution comes to mind...it's a big package and it's so divine. I'll take it all. Let's dive in:
2 cups of frozen mixed berries
1 cup Milkadamia nut milk
1/4 cup Naked Pea protein
1 packet of stevia or 1/4 tsp
Blend in your high speed blender using your tamper - the Vitamix is perfect for making fruit based sorbets
Matcha bliss balls:
best when made ahead of time and stored in the fridge...
1 cup of almond flour
1/4 cup of coconut flour
2 Tbsp erythritol
1 Tbsp collagen peptides (optional)
1 Tbsp matcha powder
~ mix dry ingredients
pour in 1/4-1/3 cup almond milk (or milk alternative) until you get a thick paste/dough
then pour in 2 heaping Tbsp of coconut butter
~ mix everything. You want a thick pasty consistency enough to roll into balls. Store in the fridge until you plan to use them. Great for breakfast on their own and excellent as an addition to any smoothie bowl for lots of added nutrition.
Pour sorbet into a pretty dish
Cut balls in half
Top with walnuts
Enjoy on your sunny lanai or cozy couch
Why coconut butter?
